JustFamily
iOS Developer on Team, Designed by Anthony Lagoon
JustFamily is a fun and easy way to collect, share and save family memories.
JustFamily users share daily experiences and collect memories together with other family members in a private place away from work and friends. Family members can interact on JustFamily through the JustFamily.com web app and through the JustFamily email interface.
Turn 2 Learn
Developer & Designer
Turn 2 Learn started as an fun concept in my head based on the popular toy we all played with as kids and quickly became one of my favorite projects. Adapting the icon round form for the iPad was tricky, and went through many iterations before settling on a final layout. Everything was built and rendered in Cinema 4D.
Make sure to check out the video below for an in-depth look at the creation of Turn 2 Learn, and make sure to download it, it's free, and looks incredible on a retina display!
Iris App
Developer, Designed by Eric Hoffman
"A Beautiful and Simple Instagram App for iPad" – Macstories
Finally, a beautiful and simple way to browse Instagram on your iPad! Iris is an iPad app that offers you a fun, simple and easy-to-use interface that connects to Instagram, enabling you to interact with all your friends photos.
Apple was kind enough to feature Iris in New and Noteworthy and also featured us in their App Store Twitter account.
Eyedrop.me
Developer, Designed by Kerem Suer
Eyedrop.me is a simple, beautiful app to capture color swatches from your favorite sites on the web. We used Adobe's Photoshop SDK to seamlessly transfer swatches from your iPhone to computer, as well as the option to send hex values or an .ase file via email.
The reaction we got from our peers was overwhelming, we loved hearing how much people enjoyed using our app. This is why Kerem and I make the things we do, and will continue to work on tools to aid our community.
Windward
Developer, Designed by Kerem Suer
Windward was the first app I did with San Fransico designer Kerem Suer and I couldn't be more happier with our working relationship and the outcome of the app. It's beautiful. Kerem did an amazing job capturing the look and feel of a nautical instrument.
From a technical standpoint Windward required a lot of data from multiple sources, which presented themselves in a variety of output formats. Hopefully we can find time to update Windward for the larger iPhone screen, stay tuned!
Skimn for iPad
Developer, Designed by Luke Beard
Skimn! Well, Skimn took awhile to reach the App Store, although it was initially designed and developed in about a month, Luke and I both got busy with our 9-5s and couldn't find time to get Skimn out to the public. But we were both loved and believed in Skimn, so we found time to finish it up and make it a reality, and we were glad we did.
We had a great response to Skimn and found out people enjoyed using it just as much as we did.
more
Developed & Designed
The more iPhone app is one of my favorite apps i've done (and not only because I was fed delicious cupcakes at every meeting!).
The app pulls live flavors from the client, allows for simple ordering, and tracks a mobile cupcake truck in real time using gps. So cool!
When working on the app I got to spend time with amazing Chicago photographer Tim Turner, who captured the cupcakes as if they were fine art, was a great experience.
Check out this app, it's pretty great.
L Tracker
Developer & Designer
L Tracker is my answer to an array of horrible train tracking apps. Who wants to struggle to find the information they need, certainly not me. I built L Tracker to do the work for you. It uses GPS to find your location and nearest CTA Station for each line, and with 1 tap you have all the information you need. It's that simple.
I spent many hours testing L Tracker, the gps accuracy with CTA Stations, and speed of train tracking data to ensure a great experience using this app. I can't tell you how many times I had L Tracker open when I had no intention of riding a train.
I know, the icon sucks!
iClock
Developer, Designed by Kevin Andersson
iClock is a technical marvel from front to back, and hopefully soon will be in the App Store. Building iClock I had to come up with my own .icl file type that the iPhone could import/download from a server or client computer and read all the clock data and allows total customization of the clock.
Kevin did an amazing job setting up a iClock store and backend management system.
DCS Remote (demo)
Developer & Designer
I built this demo to show a company the potential for an iOS app to control their product. Currently they only have RF remotes with limited buttons and screen space. I envisioned a central iPad app acting as the main control system, and a companion iPhone app to use on the fly or when walking around the layout.
It was great fun building this demo and working with GameKit to pair the devices, and allow them to control each other.
ABR® App
Developer, Designed by Jacobs & Clevenger
The ABR® App for iPhone was designed to help buyer’s agents, many of whom have earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) Designation, access useful member benefits on-the-go. Users have access to home buyer’s resources, finance calculators, marketing tips and articles from Today’s Buyer’s Rep, REBAC’s monthly membership newsletter.
Users also have the ability to share useful articles with potential buyers via email.
ICM Marketing
Developer & Designer
This was one of the first app's I built when first starting iOS development and in many way helped me learn Xcode and the whole App Store process.
ICM Marketing was used as a digital portfolio to showcase work, and provide a mobile, interactive experience when meeting with potential clients.
Verde
Developer, Designed by Matte Black Studios
The VERDE app is an energy savings calculations tool to help people perform an energy audit in their own home. The app can be used as many times as you want, and helps demonstrate to the average user how to save in energy efficiency upgrades with each eco product. It can also be used to show how behavioral changes, like hibernating a computer or turning off lights in rooms unused, can lead to significant savings.
